Legal Restraints on Journalist and Media around the world helps me to appreciate the freedom of speech here in America When it comes to international journalism issues, I felt somewhat uneducated on the topic. I didn't realize it's as widely practiced around the world or that the consequences of not adhering to legal restraints were so drastic. After taking a deeper look into this I've found several recent examples of how different countries are still censoring information that should be readily available to everyone, especially in the age of technology.   In America I think we take for granted the freedoms we have to access and share information quickly without fear of facing criminal charges, being locked up or even being killed.
