5. Northeast Libya experiences devastating floods after Storm Daniel, heavy rainfall and two dams breaking. The death toll is at 2000 as of now, an additional 10,000 reported missing. This is the 2nd most deadly flood in North African history. [CNN]
6. Clinton Presidential Center prepares for educational programs aimed at Middle and High school teachers. The Little Rock Center opened the Arkansas Civic Education to offer today’s education leaders with immersive learning experiences. The next event is all about teaching Arkansas students about the Holocaust, which has recently become a mandatory subject. 7. Massachussets teen dies after attempting the viral ‘One Chip’ challenge. This super spicy tortilla chip packaged in a coffin shaped box manufactured by Paqui is believed to be what killed the 14 year old, medical examination will take some time to determine the cause of death. Warren calls out billionaire Mush after he blocks Ukraine from extending their satellite network to attack Russian warships. 12. 68 year old man confesses to murder he allegedly committed in 1979, he is John Michael Irmer. Prosecutors say he has also confessed to another slaying. Irmer is being held without bail and his first court appearance will be on 10/17, he is being charged for first degree murder and aggravated rape. [CBS]

14. The Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority (HISA) is investigating a strange cluster of horse deaths at Churchill Downs. So far no identifiable pattern in the 12 horses who died as well as no violations by Churchill Downs. As a result Churchill downs makes rule changes to ensure the health and safety of its horses.
